The 4th Estate is growing...

In this NYT article, the Apple Computer litigation seeking to compel bloggers to disclose their sources is discussed in the context of preserving the right of journalists to keep sources, and hence their ability to report on matters that might otherwise remain hidden, confidential. I recently read that as many as 7% of all internet users are now keeping weblogs...that is a lot of "journalism".
