YouTube - in the cross hairs?
Business Week reports that YouTube is being rapidly cloned by competitors and will face a new landscape very soon. Google has responded to the strong popularity of YouTube by replacing its Froogle comparison shopping link on its landing page with a Video (beta) link. Froogle is still active, but you will have to ask Google for more choices to find it. Copyright problems are likely to continue to be an issue for YouTube and other similar sites that allow users to post material for open access.
