Ugly Websites Make More Money?

This is an interesting article discussing why some websites with truly terrible designs nevertheless make a handsome profit, despite their ugly duckling appearances. Certainly Craigslist and EBay rank at the top of unattractive but succesful sites...but who has ever heard of Plenty of Fish?
