The trend of long-term stealth operation for developing companies and products appears to be here to stay. The advantage of not providing information to your competitors is clear. However, the downside is a sharply reduced level of visibility into technology development and its marketplace. If Apple is cracking down on leaks (article) can the rest of the technology sector be far behind?
